Shelia took ballet classes as a child and then started training horses where she learned much about the balance, lines, control, and patience it takes to be a confident dancer and a competent teacher.

Shelia began her journey into the world of ballroom dance as a student, and was hooked right away.  She underwent extensive training by the 2014 & 2015 World Smooth Champions Peter & Alexandra Perzhu and learned the techniques required to be able to dance professionally and teach all forms of ballroom dance.

Shelia has successfully competed both with professional partners and armature students.
